If you are driving down Bye Pass Road in Ashfabad, you will see Shiv Pathology right in front of the petrol pump. It’s a handy location for people in Firozabad because the road is a main path for many. The lab has been here for a good while. We mostly deal with blood work and other tests that people need for their health. It’s not a big corporate laboratory with hundreds of workers. It’s just a small team of us doing the tests and writing down the results. The building is simple and we keep it clean, though the road outside can be quite noisy with all the trucks passing by. Firozabad is known for its glass work, and many of the people who come to us are workers from those factories. We don’t have a fancy waiting lounge with television sets. There are just some chairs and a counter where you hand over your paperwork. We try to get the results out as fast as we can because we know people are waiting on them.
