Shamsher Singh Tomar Foundation

Our foundation is named after Shamsher Singh Tomar. We are located at house number 1369 in Nagla Khangar. It’s near the Pariyar post office in Shikohabad. Firozabad is the main area we belong to. It’s a very local thing we have going on here. We don't have a flashy office. It's just a building in our village. Uttar Pradesh is where we’ve always been. The pin code is 283142. We do our work every day without much noise. It’s a family-oriented place, and everyone knows everyone else in Nagla Khangar. We started the foundation to keep a legacy going. There isn't a big team or anything. Just us and some neighbors who help out. Shikohabad is a quiet town for the most part. We like the pace of life here. It allows us to focus on the work without getting distracted by city life. We don't use big mission statements or marketing talk. We just look at what needs to be fixed or who needs help and we try to do it. The house is old but it works for us. We spend a lot of time sitting on the porch talking about what to do next. It’s an honest way to live. We are proud to be from Firozabad and to run this foundation from here. We don't have any corporate polish, just our hands and some local support to get things done. It’s simple work, but it feels right to be doing it in our own village.
