Sen Hospital

We've been here at 44 Gajanan Nagar for a while now. Shahganj is a busy area, so there is always something happening outside our doors. Inside Sen Hospital, things are usually a bit quieter, but it depends on the day. Some mornings the waiting area gets crowded before we even have the tea ready. We have a few rooms and the usual equipment you'd expect in a local place like this. It’s not a huge building, but it fits what we need to do. Most of the people who come in live right around here in the neighborhood. We know a lot of them by name because they've been coming to us for years. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we spend most of our time actually working with the patients. It’s a lot of routine stuff, checking temperatures, dealing with fevers, or helping someone who took a fall. The staff here is mostly local folks too. We just show up, do the work, and try to keep things moving. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to switch over to the backup, which is just part of living in this part of town. We try to keep the place clean and tidy, though with people coming in and out all day from the dusty street, it’s a constant job. That’s just how it goes at 44 Gajanan Nagar. We’re here every day, just doing what a hospital does.
