Sds Hospital

Sds Hospital is located over in the Tedi Baghia Area. It is a part of the city that stays pretty active most of the time. When you walk into the hospital, you notice it’s a practical sort of place. We don’t have expensive art on the walls or anything like that. It is mostly just white walls and tile floors that are easy to mop down. Being in Tedi Baghia Area means we get a lot of local residents coming in. Some walk here from the nearby houses, and others come from a bit further out. The doctors here stay busy with their rounds, and the reception desk usually has a pile of charts waiting to be filed away. We have some chairs in the waiting room that have seen better days, but they do the job for someone waiting to hear news. It gets a little noisy sometimes when the street traffic is heavy outside, but inside we try to keep things orderly. Working here means seeing people at their most tired or stressed, so we just try to be plain and direct with them. There isn’t any fancy language used here, just regular talk about health and medicine. We have been here for a bit, and the neighborhood has grown up around us. It’s just a local hospital doing what it needs to do every day of the week, through the heat and the rain, keeping the doors unlocked for the neighborhood and whoever else happens to need us.
