Santosh General Store

Santosh General Store is located at 37/112 on Dayal Bagh Road. You can find us pretty easily since we are right near Dayal Lodge. It’s a small shop, nothing too fancy, but we try to keep the basics in stock for everyone living around here. I’ve been running this place for a while now. Most days I’m just sitting behind the counter, waiting for the regulars to drop in and chat. We get a lot of people staying at the lodge who need a few things like soap or snacks. The neighborhood is nice. It gets a bit crowded in the afternoons when everyone is out doing their errands. I try to keep the place organized, though things sometimes get a bit messy when a big shipment of goods arrives in the morning. My kids help out sometimes after their school is done. We aren't a big supermarket or anything like that. Just a local store where you can get what you need without any fuss. I know most of the faces in Dayal Bagh by now. We talk about the weather or the local traffic while I pack their bags. It’s a simple life. Sometimes the lights flicker when the wind is high, but we get by. The address is 37/112, so if you are walking past the lodge, just look for our sign. We stay open until the sun goes down and then a bit more. It’s just how we do things here.
