Think Art

Think Art is right in the heart of Sadar Bazar, specifically on Chat Gali. If you know the bazar, you know how crowded and loud it can get, especially during the festive months. Our little shop is a bit different from the ones around us. We deal with art supplies and some finished pieces, too. It’s a cramped space because we try to fit a lot of materials onto the shelves. There’s always a bit of paint or charcoal dust somewhere if you look close enough. We didn’t start this with a big business plan. We just liked art and wanted a place in the market where we could sell things that creative people need. We get all sorts of customers, from school kids looking for a specific brush to older folks who have been painting as a hobby for decades. We don’t have fancy displays. Most things are just stacked where they fit. Sometimes we help people pick out colors or suggest a different kind of paper if what they want isn’t in stock. It’s a messy, busy place, but we like it that way. Being in Chat Gali means we see a lot of life every day. We aren't trying to be a high-end gallery. We’re just a shop where you can find what you need to make something. We open when the market opens and we stay until things quiet down at night. It’s just how we live.
