Rohit General Store

Agra is mostly known for the Taj Mahal but over here at Kheria Mod it is just busy everyday life. Rohit General Store is right in the middle of it in Shyam Nagar. If you know the Jack N Jill Restaurant then you know where we are because it is just right there nearby. It gets quite noisy with the traffic outside especially in the afternoons. I spend most of my time behind the counter just watching the people go by. We have been here for a while now and most of the faces are the same people from the colony. It is a simple place with shelves full of stuff like soap and biscuits and whatever else people need for their kitchens. Sometimes the kids from the school come in making a lot of noise but it keeps the day moving. The fan on the ceiling doesn't do much when it gets really hot in Agra but we manage. People stop in to chat for a bit while they buy their things and then they head back out to the main road. Kheria Mod is always moving so there is never a quiet moment. It is just a regular shop where you can find the small things you forgot to buy earlier. Nothing fancy here just a lot of stock and a bit of dust. It is what it is and we are just here every day from morning till the night. The door is almost always open so you just walk in whenever you need something from the racks.
