Respo Products

Our place is at D-595 in Kamla Nagar, which is always a bit of a chaotic area to be in. If you know Kamla Nagar, you know the streets are narrow and there are people and rickshaws everywhere. Respo Products is basically a ground floor unit that we’ve turned into a mix of an office and a small storage area. We have boxes stacked nearly to the ceiling in some spots, which makes it a bit tricky to move around if you aren’t careful. We’ve been in this spot for several years, and we’ve seen a lot of other shops come and go, but we’re still here. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we never seem to have the time to move everything out of the way to do it. It’s a busy atmosphere; there’s always someone coming in to drop something off or pick something up. We don't have a receptionist, so usually, whoever is closest to the door is the one who says hello. We keep a small kettle in the back for making coffee, and the smell of it usually fills up the whole room by mid-morning. It’s not a corporate environment by any stretch of the imagination. It’s just a group of us trying to keep the orders moving and making sure the inventory is right. It gets a bit loud when the market outside is in full swing, but it keeps us on our toes and ensures we don't get too bored.
