Modern Steels Tata Tiscon

We are set up at No. 32/5 Modern Steels, which is right opposite the State Bank of India in Loha Mandi. Having the bank across from us twice makes it a very easy landmark for anyone trying to find us. Loha Mandi is a loud and metallic place to work. There is always the sound of steel hitting steel and the hum of heavy engines. At Modern Steels Tata Tiscon, we handle a lot of iron rods and construction materials that stay piled up in the yard. It is a dirty job and our clothes usually show it by noon. We don't have a fancy showroom. It is just a practical space where we keep track of the weight and the sizes of the steel we have in stock. When it gets really hot, the metal is almost too warm to touch, so we wear thick gloves all day long. The office is small and usually has a few people waiting around to settle their bills or check on a delivery. We see the same faces every week, mostly local builders and truck drivers who know the routine here. We don't spend money on big signs or anything. People just know us because we are right there across from the State Bank. It is a basic operation where we focus on getting the steel loaded and out the gate as fast as we can. Every day is about the same, just moving heavy things around.
