You can find Raj Travel & Internet at 21/100, near the East Gate in Agra. Being so close to the entrance of the Taj Mahal means we are always right in the middle of everything. We started out as an internet cafe because back then, everyone needed a place to check their mail or print out documents. Over the years, we started doing more travel bookings because people would come in to use the internet and then ask if we could book a taxi or a train ticket for them. So now it’s a bit of both. The shop is quite small and it can get pretty crowded when a few people are using the computers and others are asking about travel plans. It gets very hot in the summer, so we have a small cooler running all day. My brother and I take turns running the place. We see tourists from every part of the world walking past our door. It’s a busy life, and there isn't much quiet time until the monument closes for the day. We don't have a big corporate setup. It's just a local shop where you can get your travel stuff handled while you’re visiting the city. We try to be helpful with directions too, since the area around the East Gate can be confusing for newcomers. It’s just a normal, everyday business for us here. There’s always someone coming in for something, and that’s just how we like it.
