Radha Rani General Store

Our shop, Radha Rani General Store, is located on Jalesar Road in the Ambal Kheda area of Agra. We are right in the Main Market, which is a good place to be if you want to see everything that’s going on in the village. It is a very basic setup. We have the usual items that people need for their houses, mostly groceries and small household things. The 282001 area is a bit on the edge of the main city, so things are a little quieter here than in the center of Agra, but the market still gets busy in the mornings. We spend our days arranging bags of rice and flour and chatting with the people who stop by. Most of our customers are farmers or people who work nearby. We don’t have any fancy displays. It’s just wooden shelves and counters that have been here for years. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so we spend a lot of time wiping things down with an old cloth. It is a family thing, usually just me or my cousin sitting here. We don't have any big ambitions to expand or anything. We just like having a steady place where the neighbors can get what they need without any hassle. It is an honest living. We open when the sun is up and close when it gets dark. That’s about all there is to it, and we are happy with that.
