Our office is located at 15/77 Mp Pura Gummat in Tajganj. It’s right in the heart of Agra, so it’s always dusty and loud outside. You can hear the rickshaws honking and people talking all day long. We’re pretty close to the Taj Mahal, which is why we’re here in the first place. The office itself is small and a bit cramped with all the maps and brochures we have lying around. We spend most of our time talking to people who want to see the sights. It’s a lot of organizing drivers and making sure the timings are right. Sometimes the heat in Agra is just too much, so we keep the fans going at full speed. It’s not a polished corporate space. It’s more of a place where we sit down with a cup of chai and figure out the best way to get a group through the crowds. We know all the back alleys and the shortcuts around the city. Sometimes things don't go according to plan, like when a road is blocked or a monument is closed unexpectedly. We just have to figure it out on the fly. The walls have some old photos of the local landmarks. It’s a family-style environment here. We’ve been doing this for a while and we just take it one day at a time, helping people get from one place to another without too much trouble. It's busy work but we are used to the noise and the tourists.
