Priya Kirana Store

Priya Kirana Store is located right in the heart of Nagla Mani Village, which is part of the Etmadpur Tehsil. We are easy to spot because we are quite close to the Dhakan Wali Temple. Most of the people in the village stop by at some point during the week to pick up their daily essentials. The shop is small and packed with everything from lentils to soap. We try to keep things organized, but on busy mornings, it can get a bit cluttered behind the counter. I’ve been running this store since my father passed it down to me, and not much has changed since then. The wooden shelves are old and have been repainted a few times. We don’t have a computer system or anything like that; I still write everything down in a big ledger book by hand. It’s the way I’ve always done it and it works fine for us. Sometimes the local kids come in just to see what’s new, and we always have a few jars of sweets near the front for them. The temple bells ringing in the morning are usually my signal to open up the shutters and start the day. It’s a simple life here in the village, and we know almost every customer by their first name. We just provide what the neighbors need and keep things running as best as we can.
