Prasad Childrens Hospital

This hospital is tucked away at No. 1/210 A in Professors Colony. Dealing with children all day means the place is rarely ever quiet, but that is something we have just gotten used to over the years. We see a lot of families from around Professors Colony coming in and out. It is a specific kind of work, looking after kids, and it keeps us on our toes from the moment we open. The building itself is fairly straightforward, nothing too fancy, just a practical space where doctors and nurses do their jobs. Sometimes it feels like we spend half our time just trying to keep the little ones calm while they wait. We have been here for a good amount of time, so most parents in the neighborhood know exactly where to find us. It’s not one of those huge city hospitals where you get lost in the hallways. It’s more of a local place. We handle the usual stuff like checkups and when kids get those fevers that worry their parents. The routine is pretty much the same every day, checking charts, talking to families, and making sure everything is clean. It gets a bit hectic during the monsoon season when everyone seems to be catching something. But we just keep at it, one patient at a time. It’s a busy life here in this part of town, but it feels right being right here in the middle of the colony.
