Prakash General Store

If you are ever in Sikandra, you have probably seen Prakash General Store in the Main Market. It is right there in the 282007 area of Agra. We have got a whole lot of different items packed into this one single room. From salty snacks to cleaning supplies for the floor, we try to keep whatever people need for their daily lives. The shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a regular place with a counter and some tall shelves. We do a lot of our business with the locals who live just a few streets away from us. In the early mornings, it is usually people buying fresh milk or bread for breakfast. By the evening time, it is more about selling pulses, rice, and other household items. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. Everything is just stacked up where it fits best. Sometimes it is a bit hard for a stranger to find things, but we know our way around the piles. The weather in Agra can be very tough in summer, so we have a small cooler for cold drinks that people really appreciate. It is just a small business run by people who live right nearby. We don't do any advertising at all. Word of mouth is how most people find us, and that is perfectly fine.
