Ojas Hospital

Our place, Ojas Hospital, is tucked away at E-8 Tanki Road. If you find the petrol pump in Kamla Nagar, you’re basically there because we are right behind it. It’s a bit of a funny spot being behind a station, but it makes it easy to give directions to anyone coming from other parts of Agra. We’ve been in this part of Kamla Nagar for quite some time now. The building is sturdy and does the job. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of people chatting and the occasional pager going off. We don't go in for fancy decorations or anything like that. We think it’s better to just have clean rooms and chairs that are comfortable enough to sit in while you wait. The doctors here are usually busy, but they try to listen to what everyone has to say. Agra is a big city, but our corner feels more like a small community. We see the same shopkeepers and neighbors every day. Sometimes the traffic on Tanki Road gets backed up, so we tell people to leave a little early for their appointments if they can. It’s a practical kind of place. We don't have any big speeches to give about what we do. We just open up in the morning, see who needs help, and go from there until the shift ends in the evening.
