Nirabhra Sustainable Developmentfoundation

Our office is tucked away in Flat No. 103, which is in Building 07 of the Tulip Vardhman Gardens. We are right on Old Agra Road, so the location is pretty convenient for people coming in from different parts of the area. Even though the name Nirabhra Sustainable Development Foundation sounds a bit formal, the actual work we do is very hands-on and practical. We use the flat as our main base for everything. There are desks squeezed into the rooms and papers piled up on the tables. Because we focus on sustainable development, we’re often talking about things like local environment projects or better ways to manage resources in the city. It’s a lot of planning and a lot of meetings with people who live nearby. Old Agra Road can get quite congested, so we usually hear the traffic while we’re working, but it’s just part of being in this part of town. The building is nice, and we’ve made our little corner of it as efficient as possible. We don't have a big lobby or a receptionist; you just come to the door and one of us will let you in. We’re just a small team trying to figure out how to make things run a bit better for everyone around here. It’s not always easy, but being based in a regular apartment building keeps us close to the reality of how people live.
