New Mughal Boutique

It’s busy here on Tajroad. People walk in and out all day. My father started this place, and I just keep it going. We have clothes hanging everywhere. Sometimes it’s hard to find the right thread. Sadarbazar is always loud. I drink tea while waiting for the morning rush. The shelves are full of different materials. Some people want fancy stuff, others just need a simple suit fixed. We don't have a big sign. You just look for number 2. It’s a small space, but we make it work. The fan makes a bit of noise in the summer. I usually sit near the front. We keep things tidy but by evening there are scraps of cloth on the floor. It’s just how it is. My cousins help out sometimes when we get big orders. We don't use fancy computers for everything. Most stuff is written in the notebook. It’s a bit old-fashioned I guess. People know us because we’ve been here. The tea stall guy brings us snacks in the afternoon. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and talk. It’s a good life. We just try to finish the work on time so people don't get upset. Every day is mostly the same but different faces come in. We like being right here in the middle of everything. It's nothing fancy, just a local shop where we know our neighbors and try to keep the sewing machines running smoothly every single day.
