New Bharat Leather Store is located in the Ganpati Complex in Hing Ki Mandi. This area is famous for leather, so we are right in the thick of it. When you walk into our store, the first thing you notice is the strong smell of leather. It’s something we’ve grown to love over the years. We have all kinds of leather goods, mostly focused on the basics. The Ganpati Complex is a busy place, and there are always people moving boxes or negotiating prices in the hallways. Our shop is simple. We have wooden shelves and a few counters where we show the items. We don't go for fancy lighting or expensive displays. The leather is what people come here for, so that’s what we show. We spend a lot of time inspecting the skins and the stitching on the products we get. Since we are in Hing Ki Mandi, everyone knows their stuff, so we have to be careful about what we put out. It’s a lot of physical work, moving heavy bags and organizing the inventory so everything is easy to find. We have a small team, and we usually have a kettle of tea going throughout the day. We don't have a corporate office or anything like that. We just work from the shop and try to stay honest with our customers. It’s a traditional way of doing business.
