Our place, Jp Pharmaceuticals, is at No. 13/300/1 Gujrati Para in Nai Ki Mandi. If you know the area, it's pretty easy to find. We keep a lot of stock on the shelves, mostly medicines and healthcare stuff that people need for their daily lives. It’s not a glamorous job. A lot of the time is spent checking expiry dates and making sure we have what people are asking for. The narrow streets of Nai Ki Mandi mean it’s always a bit of a squeeze getting supplies delivered, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We aren't a big chain store. We are just a local pharmacy where the staff knows most of the regular faces. People come in with their prescriptions and we do our best to help them find what they need without a lot of fuss. Sometimes we have to call around if something is out of stock. It’s practical work. We deal with a lot of wholesalers to keep the prices where they should be. The shop has a specific smell of medicine that you probably notice right when you walk in. It’s just how it is. We don't spend money on fancy displays or bright lights. It’s about having the right pills or syrups ready when someone isn't feeling well. That's the main thing we do here every day.
