My Fashion Lounge

Being right across from St. John's College means we see a lot of young people every single day. My Fashion Lounge is located at the crossing, and honestly, the noise from the traffic on Ramratan Road never really stops. We are on Raghunath Talkies Road, which is a bit of a mouthful to tell people over the phone when they are lost. The shop isn't some high-end boutique you'd find in a mall. It's just a space in Bagh Muzaffar Khan where we hang up the latest things we've managed to get in. Sometimes the college kids come in just to look around between their classes, and that’s fine with us. We have to keep an eye on the trends because they change so fast these days. One week it's one thing, and the next week nobody wants it anymore. Dealing with the dust from the road is a constant battle, so we are always wiping down the racks. It’s just me and a couple of others working here. We eat our lunch in the back room when it’s quiet. Mantola is a busy part of town, and we’ve gotten used to the chaos of the crossing. If you find yourself near St. John's, you'll see us there. We don't have any big grand story, just a shop that’s been sitting on this corner for a while now, trying to keep up with what people want to wear.
