M.M. General Store

Started M.M. General Store here on Bye Pass Road. It's right at Langre Ki Chawki. Most days it’s just me and maybe one help behind the counter. The trucks go by all day and night because of the bypass, so it gets a bit dusty on the shelves. We have to wipe things down pretty often. Most people around here know the spot. It isn't a huge place, just a regular shop where you can find what you need for the kitchen or some soap and stuff. We open up early in the morning, usually around eight, sometimes a bit later if the traffic was bad coming in. Agra gets hot in the summer, and the fan in here doesn't always do much, but we manage. People stop in on their way home from work to grab bread or milk. It's a simple life. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. Just racks and some boxes on the floor when a delivery comes in. Sometimes the delivery guy is late and we have to tell people to come back in an hour. It’s part of the job. Langre Ki Chawki is a busy area, lots of noise from the road. We’ve been at this address for a while now. It’s just how things are. We keep the usual things people ask for. No point in stocking things nobody wants. Every month we try to organize the back room but it always gets messy again with the empty crates.
