M.M General Store

M.M General Store is located near the Bypass Road at Langde Ki Chowki in Agra. Because we are so close to the bypass, we get a lot of travelers stopping by along with the local residents. The trucks going past make the whole place shake sometimes, and the air is always thick with the smell of diesel and dust. It’s a busy life, and the shop is never really quiet. We keep a good stock of things that people might need in a hurry, like snacks, bottled water, and mobile recharges. The shelves are packed tight, and I often have to use a ladder to reach the stuff at the top. It gets really hot in the summer months, and we just keep the doors open to catch whatever breeze there is. I’ve lived in Agra all my life, and working here on the bypass has its own rhythm. You see people from all over the country just passing through for a few minutes. Our regulars are mostly the folks who live in the houses behind the main road. They come in for their daily milk and bread. We don't have any complicated systems, just a notebook for credit and a drawer for the cash. It’s a practical way to run a business, and it works for us and our customers. We aren't trying to be fancy, just keeping the shop open and the shelves full for whoever stops by.
