Our place is located at A-27 in Dev Nagar, right near the Khandari Crossing. If you know Agra, you know how busy it gets around here, especially with Nishant Classes being so close by. There are always students and people moving around outside. We started Mendonca Apparels and Lifestyle because we wanted to do something with clothes and daily items that people actually need. It isn't some high-end luxury shop. We mostly focus on getting things done in our workspace. The building itself is pretty easy to find once you get to the crossing. We spend a lot of time on the floor checking samples and talking to our small team about the next batch of garments. Sometimes we lose track of time because there is always something to fix or a new design to look at. Agra can get really hot in the summer, so we usually have the fans going full blast while we work on the lifestyle products. We didn't want a corporate office in a glass building. Being here in Dev Nagar feels more like being part of the real city. Our neighbors know us, and we know the tea stall guy down the road. It is a simple operation, really. We just try to stay busy and keep the work decent without making a big fuss about it. We are just regular people trying to make a living in the apparel business. (248 words)
