Mehek General Store

Mehek General Store is over here at Kuberpur Crossing in Agra. Most days start pretty early because we have to get things sorted before the crowd starts coming in from the road. Being right at the crossing means there is always a lot of noise and people moving about. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. It’s just a small place, nothing fancy at all. We have the usual things people need like soap, some biscuits, and the basic kitchen items. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late and it gets a bit stressful trying to explain to the regulars why we don't have their favorite brand of tea that morning. Most people around here are nice though. They stop by to pick up a few things on their way home. The shop gets quite dusty with all the traffic passing by, so a lot of our time goes into just wiping down the counters and the jars. It is not exactly a big exciting life but it keeps us busy. We know most of the faces that walk through the door. Some people stay for a minute to talk about the weather or how the road construction is going. It's just how things are in this part of Kuberpur. We try to keep the shelves filled with what people ask for. If someone wants something specific, we might try to get it next time the supplier comes around. That's pretty much the whole story of our little store.
