We are located on the ground floor of Building No. 42 in the MHADA Complex. It’s right on New Link Road in Oshiwara, Jogeshwari West. Being on the ground floor is a huge help for us at Manik Business Machines because we are always hauling heavy photocopiers and printers in and out. If we were on a higher floor, I don’t think our backs would have lasted this long. The office is unit number 3, and it’s pretty easy to find once you get into the complex. The New Link Road is always a mess of traffic and construction, so there is a constant hum of engines outside our window. Inside, we have machines in various states of repair scattered around. There are stacks of paper, toner cartridges everywhere, and tools sitting on most of the flat surfaces. It’s a busy little shop. We’ve been here since the area was much quieter than it is now. We know most of the other shop owners in the complex, and we help each other out when someone needs a tool or a spare hand. We don't have any fancy marketing people or a dedicated sales team. It’s just us answering the phones and fixing the machines as they come in. It’s a bit cluttered and the lighting isn’t the best, but we get the work done. We’ve built a steady life here just by showing up every day and doing the work.
