Manglam Hospital

Being out here on Plot No-4 along the Agra Firozabad Road means we see a lot of traffic. Manglam Hospital has been sitting on this stretch for quite some time now. You can see the Agra Firozabad Rd from the front windows and it’s always moving. The building itself is a bit older, with those sturdy floors that have seen many feet walk over them. We have a lot of rooms and the hallways are wide enough for the stretchers to go through without hitting the walls. I usually arrive early to make sure the lights are all on. The address is 282001 if you’re looking at a map, but most people just know us as the place on the way out of Agra. We don't have any of those fancy coffee machines, just a kettle in the back for the staff. It’s practical here. We focus on getting the work done. The lobby gets a bit hot in the afternoon when the sun hits the glass, so we keep the curtains pulled halfway. It’s not a quiet place, there’s always something happening, someone calling out or a machine beeping. We just do our shifts and go home. People from the nearby villages and the city come here. It’s a landmark for some. We don’t do much advertising because everyone around Agra already knows where Plot No-4 is. It’s just a regular hospital doing its job on the road. We keep things running and handle whatever comes through the gate today. It's just what we do.
