Laxmi Trading Co. & Provision Store

We’ve been running Laxmi Trading Co. & Provision Store here in Hari Om Market for quite some time now. Being on Shahganj Bodla Road means things get pretty busy, especially since we are right near Cod Crossing. Most days start early for us. We spend a lot of time just moving boxes and making sure the shelves don't look empty when people come in for their groceries. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular shop where you can find what you need for the kitchen. We deal with all sorts of items from grains to basic household stuff. Living and working in Agra, you get used to the noise and the crowds. Our space in Shah Ganj is usually full of stuff, and sometimes it gets a bit crowded inside when more than three people show up at once. We don't have a big team or anything, just us making sure the stock is there. People from around the neighborhood stop by on their way home. We try to keep things simple. If we don’t have something, we usually tell people when it might show up. It is a lot of work staying open all day, but that is just how it is. Sometimes the fans don't work right, or the delivery truck is late, but we manage. We aren’t trying to do anything big, just keeping the store going for the folks who live around the Shahganj area. It is a basic provision store, nothing more.
