Laki General Store

Laki General Store is one of those small spots in Bundu Katra, Agra, right by the Sabji Mandi. It’s a busy area where you can always hear the vegetable sellers calling out. Our shop is tucked in there, and we’ve been serving the local neighborhood for a long time. It’s not a big supermarket, just a local general store where you can find the usual stuff like soap, biscuits, and maybe some stationery. The shop is a bit small, so we have to be clever about where we put everything. We know most of our customers by their faces, and we usually know what they want before they even ask. It’s a very local feel here. We don't use any fancy computer systems for our inventory; it's mostly just looking at the shelves and seeing what is running low. Agra can be quite dusty, especially near the mandi, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the counters. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in the city or anything. We just want to make sure the people living nearby don't have to go too far for their daily needs. It’s a lot of standing around and waiting for customers, but when it gets busy, it really keeps us on our toes. We don't have a fancy page usually, we just talk to people across the counter and get them what they need.
