Kamlesh Export

Down at 6/6-B on Khandari Road in Shastri Nagar is where you will find us. We’ve been running Kamlesh Export out of this building for a long time. It’s a residential-feeling area but we make it work for our business. The rooms are filled with boxes ready to go out and others that just arrived. We spend a lot of time making sure the labels are right and the paperwork is in order. It’s a lot of sitting at a desk and then a lot of lifting heavy crates. We don't have a big team, just a handful of us who have known each other for years. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we just sit outside on the steps until it comes back on. Shastri Nagar is a familiar place to us, and we like being on Khandari Road because it’s easy for the drivers to find. We aren't a corporate giant, just a local outfit trying to get things from one place to another. Our office is a bit messy with old files and coffee mugs, but we know where everything is. It’s a quiet kind of work most days. We just keep our heads down and do what needs to be done before the sun sets. If you see some guys loading a truck at 6/6-B, that’s probably us just trying to get through the daily schedule.
