We’ve got Shop No. 3 in the Vimla Complex at E-25/1. It’s right on the Bypass Road, so it gets incredibly dusty from all the trucks driving past. If you come by, you’ll probably see us wiping down the battery casings every morning. It’s a never-ending job. The shop isn't very large, but we stack the batteries pretty high to make use of the space. It’s just how we have to do it to keep everything in stock. The complex is busy, and there’s always someone moving something heavy nearby. We’ve got a small stool for customers to sit on, but most people just stand while we check their old batteries. We don't have any fancy testers, just the ones we’ve used for years that we know we can trust. The bypass road can be loud, so we usually have to raise our voices a bit to be heard over the engines. We close up when the sun goes down because the streetlights around here aren't the best. It’s hard work, lifting those heavy units all day, but it’s what we do. My brother helps out during the peak season when everyone’s car battery seems to die at once. We keep a cooler of water in the back for anyone who needs it. It gets hot in the summer with the sun reflecting off the pavement.
