Kamla Hospital

Our place, Kamla Hospital, is situated right near Satkar Cinema on Kotla Road. It is a well-known area, so people usually just tell their rickshaw drivers to drop them off by the cinema. The hospital itself has been around for quite some time now. It’s a general setup where we see all sorts of patients throughout the day and night. We have different wards and some rooms for people who need to stay over for a few days. It isn’t a very modern-looking building, but it does what it needs to do. There is always a lot of movement—doctors coming in, nurses checking on patients, and families bringing food for their relatives. The waiting area can be a bit loud because of the street noise and the people passing by. We don’t have any of those fancy coffee machines or plush carpets you see in private city hospitals. Our floors are just plain tiles and the benches are simple wood or metal. It’s a practical environment. The staff works hard, and we’ve seen a lot of different cases over the years. Being on Kotla Road means we are right in the thick of things. People trust us because we have been here so long and they know what to expect when they walk through the doors. It’s just a normal hospital serving the local community. We just keep on going, day after day, helping anyone who comes in. It is just part of the neighborhood life. We are just here.
