About Kamal Crockery House – Housewares & Supplies in Agra
Walking through 6/2, Gali Bara Bhai in Agarwal Market, you will find our shop. Belan Ganj is always crowded, so getting here can be a bit of a chore with all the rickshaws and people pushing past. Inside, the shelves are packed with all sorts of things, from simple glass tumblers to those heavy ceramic plates people like for weddings. It is a bit dusty because of the construction nearby, but we spend a lot of time wiping things down. We have been in this spot for a while now. The market has changed, but the shop stays mostly the same. Sometimes a box arrives from the factory and we have to check every single piece for cracks. It is tedious work and your hands get dry from the cardboard. My nephew usually sits at the front counter while I organize the back. We don't really do much advertising. People just walk in because they need a new set of bowls or a gift for a relative. It is loud outside with the shouting and horns, but inside it feels a bit slower. We have tea twice a day from the stall across the lane. If you are looking for fancy showrooms, this isn't it. It is just a regular shop with lots of boxes and stacks of plates reaching the ceiling. We just try to get through the day and help the people who stop by to look at the wares.
