Kajal General Store

Kajal General Store is located in Agra at B 16 in the Trans Yamuna Colony. We are tucked away near Avantika Colony and right by the Adhar Market. It is a residential area, so most of the faces we see are people who live just a few streets away. Running this store means we are always around, from the early morning when the milk arrives until the sun goes down and we finally close up. The shelves are filled with the usual stuff you expect to find in a neighborhood shop, like pulses, spices, and soaps. It can get quite dusty because of the road, so we are always wiping things down. The space is a bit cramped, especially when we get a big delivery and have to stack boxes in the corners. We don't have any fancy signs or big displays. It is just a plain shop where you can get what you need without a fuss. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to escape the heat for a minute and chat about what is happening in the colony. We know which brands people like and try to keep those in stock. It is hard work staying on your feet all day, but it is what we do. The market nearby keeps the area lively, and there is always someone passing by the door. We just try to keep the shop organized enough so people can find their items quickly and go back home.
