Joshi Tourist Complex, Joshi Resort

This place is situated right on the highway between Agra and Jaipur, specifically at the 21 km stone. It's a spot where drivers and families take a break from the long road. We started the Joshi Tourist Complex a long time ago to give people a place to stretch their legs and get a decent meal. Rooms are available too if someone needs to sleep over before heading back out on NH-11. It's a big open space with plenty of room for parking trucks and cars. When the weather isn't too hot, the garden area gets some use. Inside, the dining hall is simple. North Indian food is what we mostly serve, things that fill you up for the long drive ahead. We don't have fancy decorations, just sturdy tables and a staff that’s used to travelers in a hurry. Because of the road, it can get dusty, but we try to keep it clean inside the resort. Being a family-run kind of thing, you might see the kids or the older folks helping out around the place. We stay open late because you never know when someone will be passing by and needing a rest. It's not a luxury hotel, just a practical stop for anyone traveling the highway. We’ve seen a lot of people come and go over the years. We just keep the lights on for those who are still driving.
