Jeewan Yapan Sansthan Foundation

You can find the Jeewan Yapan Sansthan Foundation over in Agrail Khurd, which is part of the Patepur Block. We are set up at Ratnesh Kumar Singh’s place. It is more of a community setting than a city office. We are right in the middle of the village area. It is quiet and there is a lot of green around. We do not have a fleet of cars or a big glass building. Most of us walk or bike to get here. The office is just a simple room with a table and a few chairs where we sit and talk about what needs to be done. We spend a lot of time talking to the local people because that is how we know what is going on. Agrail Khurd is a small place where everyone knows everyone else. We handle the foundation's work in between our other daily chores. It is not a nine-to-five kind of job. Sometimes we are working early in the morning and other times late at night. There is a lot of manual work involved and we do not mind getting our hands dirty. We do not have a fancy website with lots of photos. We just do the work and keep our own records. It is a very local operation and we prefer it that way. We just want to keep things running smoothly for the people around here.
