Jai Kela Devi Paties

Jai Kela Devi Paties is located at Shop No 5 near Manoj Dhaba on Dayal Bagh Road in Agra. We are pretty much right there in the Dayal Bagh area, 282005. Most people know us because we are close to the dhaba. Our main thing is patties, the flaky kind that people like to snack on. We also have some other small snacks and items since we are on a busy road. The oven stays hot most of the day, and you can usually smell the baking if the wind is blowing the right way. Agra gets quite dusty, and being on Dayal Bagh Road means we see a lot of vehicles passing by all the time. The shop is small and simple, with just enough room for the counter and the food. We start prep work early to have everything ready for the morning crowd. It’s not a fancy restaurant, just a place to grab something quick to eat. Sometimes we run out of the popular stuff by late afternoon, which can be frustrating, but we try to gauge the daily demand. We’ve got a few chairs, but most people just stand or take their food to go. It is a honest living, serving snacks to travelers and locals who are moving through this part of Agra. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the food is what matters to the people who stop by.
