Husain General Store

Husain General Store is sitting at Shop No-3 in the Loha Mandi area of Agra. If you know Agra, you know that Loha Mandi is a place with a lot of history and a lot of activity every single day. Our shop is just a regular general store where we try to keep a bit of everything on the shelves. It’s not a massive place, but we’ve managed to cram a lot of stuff into the space we have. From the morning when we roll up the shutters until the evening when we close, there’s always something to do. Whether it’s counting the change or helping someone find a specific brand of soap, we stay busy. The area is known for its trade, so we get all sorts of people stopping by, not just the neighbors but also folks working in the nearby businesses. The noise of the city is always there, but we don't mind it much anymore. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in Agra, just a reliable one for the people right here in Loha Mandi. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to use flashlights, or the deliveries are late, but we just take it as it comes. It’s just us working here, no big management team or anything like that. We like the familiarity of the shop and the people who visit us. It’s a hard but decent way to spend the day.
