Our place is out at F-1 in Sikandra Site C, which is part of the UPSIDC area. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren't living nearby, but it’s where all the industrial activity happens in this region. We have a decent-sized space because we need the room for all the communication equipment and parts that come through our doors. It’s not like a shop in the city where people just wander in to look around at the shelves. Most of the people coming here are here for business, usually picking something up for a project or dropping something off. The building is pretty plain, just a standard industrial structure with high ceilings and some big doors for loading. Inside, it can get a little dusty because of the surroundings, so we are always wiping things down when we have a spare minute. We spend a lot of time checking inventory and making sure the orders are ready to go. The team here is small, just a handful of us who have been working together for a few years now. We know our way around the equipment and the paperwork, though sometimes the filing system gets a bit disorganized when we are really busy. Lunch usually happens all at once around a small table in the back. It’s a quiet area compared to the city center, mostly just the sound of trucks and the occasional siren.
