We set up Haakim Sengar Social And Environment Foundation over at House Number 80 in Senawali. It’s a quiet spot in Paigu, near Firozabad. Mostly, we just look around and see things that need fixing. Some of it is about the plants and trees nearby, and some of it is just helping out the folks living here in Uttar Pradesh. It wasn't some big plan we had at first. We just saw that the environment around us was changing and people were struggling with small things. So we decided to get organized. It’s hard work, and sometimes we aren't sure where to start, but we keep at it. Being here in 283151, we know the local issues well. We spend our days talking to neighbors and seeing what can be done about the trash or the water. It’s not fancy. We don't have a big office or a bunch of suits. It’s just us working from the house. Sometimes we get more done than other days. That’s just how it goes when you’re trying to do something for the community. We've been here for a while now, and the foundation is just a way to keep things moving. We hope to keep the village green and make sure everyone has what they need. It’s a slow process, but we’re here for the long haul in Senawali. Just local people doing what we can for our home.
