Gaurav General Store

Our shop is located right at Namner Chauraha in the Main Market area of Agra. Gaurav is usually the one you'll see standing behind the counter most days. It’s a straightforward general store where we keep all the basic necessities. We’ve got flour, pulses, spices, and all those little things that suddenly run out in the kitchen. The space inside isn't very large, so we have to stack things pretty high to make room for everything. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when more than three people come in at once. Being at the chauraha means there is always something happening right outside the door. We see the rickshaws and cars piling up, and the noise never really stops until very late at night. We’ve been serving the local Namner residents for a lot of years now. Most of our customers are regulars who live just a few streets away from the market. They know us and we know what they usually like to buy. We don't do any big advertising or anything fancy like that. People just know we are here if they need bread or a new light bulb for their room. It's a plain, honest business. We open up in the morning, sweep the front of the shop, and wait for the first customer to arrive. It's just a regular part of life here in this corner of Agra city.
