Ganeshi Lall Emporium

You can find us at No. 13 on M. G. Road. This shop has been part of our lives for a long time. Ganeshi Lall Emporium isn't a modern glass building; it's just a place filled with things we've collected and handled over the years. M G Road is always crowded, so there’s a lot of energy right outside the front door. We open up early most days to get a head start before the heat and the crowds really pick up. Inside, things are a bit dusty sometimes, but that's just how it goes with an old shop. We don't use a lot of fancy computers or anything. Most of our work is done by hand or just by talking to people who walk in. It’s a simple way of living. We know the neighbors at the other shops nearby. We share news and sometimes help each other out if someone needs a hand moving something heavy. It’s a community feel even with all the busy traffic. We keep our stock on the old wooden shelves. Some of it has been there a while, and some is new. We don’t have a big marketing plan. People just know we are here at number thirteen. If someone asks for something we don't have, we usually know who else on the street might. It’s just how we do things. We’re just regular folks running a shop. The fan on the ceiling makes a clicking sound but it works well enough.
