Paatla Laminates

Our place is right over in Freeganj, not too far from Mhatre Bridge in Erandwana. If you know the area, you know it stays pretty busy with traffic and people moving around all day. We’ve been operating out of this spot for some time now. The shop is filled with stacks of laminate sheets in all sorts of colors and patterns. It’s a bit cramped inside because we try to keep a lot of stock on hand for the walk-ins. Sometimes the rolls get in the way of the narrow walkway, but we manage to navigate around them. Working with laminates means dealing with a lot of heavy lifting and making sure the edges don't get chipped during transport. We spend a lot of our time organizing the racks. It’s a lot of manual work, moving things from one side of the room to the other to find exactly what a customer asked for. The light in here isn't the brightest, but we know where everything is kept. The wooden shelves we built ourselves are starting to sag a little under the weight of the catalogs, but they still hold up okay. Most days it’s just us handling the orders and talking to the carpenters who come by. They usually know what they want, so we just pull the sheets and get them ready. Being near the bridge means it can get a bit loud, but it's just part of the routine.
