Fine Gems Arts

Our shop is Shope No. U.G.-2, right near Hotel Apollo on Fatehabad Road. Being in Tajganj means there are always people walking by, mostly heading toward the monuments. Fine Gems Arts is a small place but we keep it packed with interesting things. The light in the shop is okay, though we sometimes have to move things near the window to see the details better. We spend our time looking at stones and different pieces of art that come in. It’s a bit of a process to get everything sorted and displayed. Sometimes the traffic on Fatehabad Road makes it hard to hear, but we’re used to the noise by now. We aren't trying to be some high-end gallery with velvet ropes. It’s just a shop where we work and talk to anyone who walks through the door. Most days involve cleaning the glass cases and updating the inventory by hand. It can be tedious but someone has to do it. Being near Hotel Apollo helps people find us, which is lucky because this part of Tajganj can be a maze. We don’t have a big staff, just a few people who know the items well. We like the rhythm of the day here, from the first customer to when we pull down the shutters at night. It’s just regular work in a busy part of town. Sometimes we sit outside on the step when the shop is quiet and just watch the tourists go past.
