Dolly General Store

Dolly General Store is located on the 100 Ft Road stretch over in Tedi Bagia. It’s a busy part of Agra and we have been operating out of this small space for quite a while now. The shop is pretty straightforward with shelves lined up along the walls holding all the basic groceries and household items people use every day. You can find things like soap, detergent, spices, and snacks for the kids without having to go all the way to the bigger markets. Since we are right on the main road, it stays pretty lively throughout the day with people coming and going. Sometimes the inventory piles up in the corners when a new shipment arrives, so it might feel a bit cramped for a minute, but that’s just how it goes in a small business. We don't have a team of people or anything like that, mostly it is just us managing the counter and making sure the jars are full. The floor gets a bit of dirt from the street traffic, so we are always sweeping it out. Most of the people who come in are neighbors we’ve known for years. They come for a loaf of bread or some sugar and stay for a quick word about the weather. It is a humble setup and we like it that way because it keeps things simple for everyone in the area. We just try to stay stocked up on the basics so nobody has to walk too far. Sometimes we even stay open a bit later if we see people still out on the road.
