You can find us at Plot No-C/15 over in Foundry Nagar. We are situated right near the Roadways Workshop, which makes it pretty easy to explain the directions to anyone coming over. The area is very industrial, as the name Foundry Nagar suggests. There is a lot of heavy work happening all around us. Devi Sahai Gopal Das has been operating from this spot for a long time. It feels like an old part of the city where things are still done the traditional way. The workshop nearby always has buses or trucks being worked on, so there is a constant hum of engines and tools. Our own space is filled with the things we handle daily. It’s not a place for sitting around in suits. We usually have grease or dust on our hands. The walls of our building show the age of the business. We don't see any reason to paint them every year when there is so much work to do. The sun hits the front of the plot in the afternoons, making it quite bright. We keep the doors open to let the air circulate. It’s a straightforward setup. No one here cares much for fancy titles or long meetings. We just look at what needs to be done and we do it. Sometimes the rain makes the yard a bit muddy, but we just throw some gravel down and keep moving forward.
