Our office is on the first floor of a building in Chauhan Market, which is on Kotla Road here in Firozabad. It’s a very local spot. If you’re familiar with the market, you know it’s always busy with people buying things for their homes or just passing through. Being on the first floor is good because we are slightly away from the direct noise of the street, but we can still see everything that’s going on down below. Firozabad is famous for its glass, and you can see that influence everywhere around here. Our office isn't made of glass, though—it’s just a standard brick and mortar room with some old wooden furniture that has seen better days. We don't really care much about the decor. As long as the ceiling fan works and there’s enough light to read the documents, we are happy. We spend most of our time dealing with associates' work and helping out the local shopkeepers who pop in with their ledgers. It’s a very community-driven atmosphere. Sometimes a client will bring in some snacks, and we’ll all take a break to eat and chat for a bit. It’s not a corporate environment at all. It’s just us doing our jobs in a place that feels comfortable and familiar to everyone who lives on Kotla Road. We also have a small balcony where we keep a few plants, though they struggle a bit with the dust.
