Biological Museum

Biological Museum is sitting over at E-39 in New Agra. We are right down the road from the New Agra Hospital on Dayal Bagh Road. It’s an interesting spot to be. Most days are quiet, which is good for looking after everything we have inside. We have rows of cases and shelves filled with different things. Keeping the dust off everything is probably the biggest part of the day. You wouldn't believe how much dust settles on glass in just twenty-four hours. We don’t have many staff, just a few of us who know where everything is. The light in the hallway is a bit dim, but we finally got the bulb changed yesterday. It makes a difference. People come in from the hospital area sometimes just to get away from the noise. We don't have any loud music or flashing signs. It’s just a place to see what we’ve collected over the years. Some of the specimens have been here longer than I have. We use those old hand-written tags for a lot of them. It has a certain look to it, I suppose. The street outside can get really jammed with traffic in the evenings, so we usually try to leave a bit early or stay late to miss it. It’s a simple life at E-39. We just keep things in order and open the doors for anyone curious enough to walk in.
