Costa Coffee

This shop is located right on Plot Number 8 along Fatehabad Road. Most people know we are near the Amar Yatri Niwas Hotel in the Handicraft Nagar area. It’s a busy stretch of road with a lot of folks coming and going, especially with all the hotels nearby. We spend a lot of time behind the counter just getting things ready before the morning rush starts. The machines make a lot of noise and sometimes the steam gets a bit much when it's already hot outside. We have tables inside where people sit for a long time, sometimes just looking at their phones or talking. It gets quite loud when the tour buses stop nearby and people pile in. We try to keep the floors clean, but with the dust from the road, it’s a constant job. The staff here mostly lives nearby so we know the shortcuts around the neighborhood. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit for the backup, but that’s just part of being here. We aren't trying to be anything other than a place to get a drink. The windows look out onto the street so you can watch the traffic while you wait. We’ve got a regular routine of restocking milk and beans throughout the day. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and wiping down counters, but we don't mind the work. It is just what we do at Costa Coffee on Fatehabad Road.
