Christmas Gift Box

We are located in Lakkhi Gali, over in Gokul Pura. Our business is called Christmas Gift Box, though we do things for all sorts of occasions throughout the year. It’s a tight space in the lane here, but we’ve made it work for a long time. Mostly, we deal with cardboard, paper, and ribbons. If you walk into our place, you’ll see stacks of flat boxes waiting to be folded and glued. It gets really crowded during the festive seasons, especially towards the end of the year. We have a few locals who help us out when things get really busy. It’s a lot of repetitive work, folding and taping, but it’s what we do. The neighborhood of Gokul Pura is quite lively, so there’s always noise coming from outside. We started this because we saw a need for simple, sturdy boxes that people could use for presents. We aren’t a massive operation with high-tech printers; it’s more about hands-on assembly. Sometimes the glue gets everywhere, and the floors are always covered in paper scraps. We just try to keep up with the demand and make sure the boxes are strong enough to hold whatever goes inside. Most of our customers are shopkeepers from the nearby markets who need packaging. It’s a modest living, and we’re happy to be part of the community here in the Gali. There's always coffee on the desk and a lot of chatter while we work our way through the stacks.
